this is a great ratchet handle. made in the USA. The squared off socket retainer pin means the socket will not fly off while youre up in the rig. Has a very large split ring in the handle for a lanyard connection. I found that this felt too awkward while using the tool so i removed it and replaced with a static rope lanyard. Overall the tool is rock solid as you would expect from Williams. The ratchet mechanism is smooth and unhesitating. The lever is small which should keep it from snagging and changing direction on you. One thing is that it is made of solid steel and it is rather heavy. not much heavier than the your average ratchet handle but certainly not any lighter. if youre a climber and you wear all your tools, thats something you may take into consideration. Other than that, its a great, well made tool that will last many years. Happy wrenching!
